The St. Anastasia Abbey, once part of Gratteri territory, nowadays is included in Castelbuono territory. This abbey was founded by Count Ruggero on 1100 and it seem that the first celebrants were Basilians. On 1851 ít was abandoned by the Benedeptin order due to a storm that made it unusable. Nowadays the church walls and the original structure portal are still visible.
