The Abisso del Gatto cave is located in the Cefalù area, at the western slope of Cozzo Carcarello, 380 m above sea level. With its 1100 m lenght and 323 depth, the cave is the deepest one in Sicily. Because of its characteristics and difficulties, only expert cavers, well prepared technically and physically can enter the cave.
