Chiesa Madre Maria SS.Immacolata di Cerda
Chiesa Madre Maria SS.Immacolata di Cerda
The Church was built between XVI and XVII century and dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. Until 1825 the church was included in Cefalú diocese, while nowadays is included in the Palermo one.
The church does note present any architectural innovations but only some "echoes" and "variations" of Sicilian baroque style, such as to suggest a neoclassical work. Inside the church is preserved the simulacrum of the "Madonna Addolorata", Cerda Saint patron.
